I have been furiously testing my kiddos so that I can get them ready for flexing in a couple of weeks. I currently have 7 complete and 1 partially done. That only leaves 11 more provided I don't get any more students.

First Day Writing
I had my kids write on the first day of school. I read "The night Before First Grade" and "First Day Jitters" to my kids then I had them finish the prompt
"Last night I felt ........" I had them sound out words and illustrate their writing. I was so proud of them that I immediately put them on my hallway bulletin board for all to see!!
